Next level for me on Warren line. The usual searches in ancestry are not productive on this. There are a number of Warren lines and where are William Gardiner Warrens parents? Gardiner is a clue as he is living in Gardiner Maine area and his son, John C and grandson John C also live in that area. I am guessing somehow he is related to the Gardiners who establish the town. Nearby towns of Farmingdale, Pittston, and Hallowell have families related to them and they appear in some town histories of the area. I broke the wall from the grandson to William G using some town histories and relationships to related families in coastal Maine nearby. Families that have intermarried repeatedly are Stevens, Mellus, Marson(Marston). I have WIliam in census from 18000-1830, in Webster, Henry Sewall, Vital Records of Farmingdale, Maine to the Year 1892 in Webster, Henry Sewall, Vital Records of Pittston, Maine in Maine Birth Records for his birth and birth of several of his children. in Bartlet, William S, A Memoir of the Life of the Rev. Jacob Bailey, A.M., Missionary at Pownalborough, Maine; Cornwallis and Annapolis, N. S William is born Dec 14 1774, no death record yet but need it married Peggy Marson b May 14, 1769, on Nov 30 1797 in Pittston, ME. I am looking for William and Peggys parents. who, where, when, . . . I am suspecting his mother was a Gardiner perhaps based on his middle name. Dr. Silvester Gardiner, is from Boston and I ponder if Warrens came from there with some Gardiners. Any specific sources and data appreciated on it.
