Next week (May 5-9) is National PTA Teacher Appreciation Week, a chance to say “thank you” to SCUSD’s dedicated classroom educators. The Parent Teacher Association offers several ideas for recognizing the teachers in your school: * Send a thank you note during the week or on California Day of the Teacher (May 7). Encourage students to do likewise. * Post your appreciation on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #ThankATeacher. * Bring bouquets to school. * Wash cars or windshields.
