Night/Day 1 of 8 off. yesterday- Got all groceries, dog food, cat food, cat litter, water softener salt. All laundry done, including bed linen. Not to mention all Horse and dog care. Looks like dogs will eat well, eggs all frozen from barn. So far day 2, Made apple cider/honey and wassail mix for sick hubby to drink , also warm water Epsom salt baking soda mix for him to soak his feet to detox. Seems to be working. Off to Russia store to get things I forgot yesterday. Huge pot of Chili made along with huge pot of homemade chicken noodle soap. Will freeze some and take some to Dad later. Casserole made. Corn casserole with chicken and potatoes and onions and celery along with stock from chicken noodle broth. I think we are ready for the next 2 weeks. Maybe cookies later. Pots and pans all cleaned. Extra insulated curtains hung on south side of house. No I m going to rest for a while. Tomorrow floors maybe mirrors and cupboards.
