“No Laughing In Hell” There are no playmates in hell whatever people may say, hell is not a place of laughter. See the seriousness with which Jesus warns about hell. Mark 9:43-49, “And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go to hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. And if thy eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.” Jesus also told a true story to show the clear difference between heaven and hell and what is required of one who does not desire to go to hell. In Luke 16:19-31, “There was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day; and … certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate… And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom; the rich man also died, and was buried. And in hell he lifted up his eyes being in torments and seeth Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom… send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame…” You should not go to hell. There is no laughing there; it is all woes and sorrows. You can be a candidate of heaven today. Repent of your sins and acknowledge Jesus as your Saviour, confess and forsake your sins. He will keep you from evil; to be in heaven with him.
