Not often that someone drives into our building. Heres what the police said: On 6-13-2014 around 4:15am officers responded to an accident at 190 Marietta St. Upon arrival officers found that a vehicle had struck the north side of the CNN Center building. There were no reported injuries. Officers found the driver in possession of marijuana and the driver admitted to them that he had smoked marijuana earlier. The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver was traveling near Marietta St and Centennial Olympic Park Dr when he left the roadway and struck the building. The driver was taken into custody and is being charged with DUI Less Safe, Reckless Driving and Possession of Marijuana.
