But I must admit to being amused by the word Hinduphobe Other issues apart, I feel there is something wrong with the way supporters of Rajdeep / detractors of the BJP are calling it. The more rabid believe that it is okay for a journalist to bait supporters of a leader by harping on his weaknesses. Let us take this belief as correct. How then should the supporters react? Praise the journalist to the skies? On a more rational level, if it is accepted that Rajdeep can call anybody names and his supporters should keep quiet because he is an eminent personality, by the same yardstick, if people call Rajdeep names, then it is incumbent on him to keep quiet as well by virtue of him being an eminent personality himself isnt it? As far as I could make out, the imbroglio began because he acted aggressively towards somebody abusing him. Which is why this contemplation.
