November 9 PA Native Plant Society 2013 Annual Meeting Ag Science Auditorium, Penn State University, State College, PA Speaker – Dr. Doug Tallamy Professor & Chair of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology, University of Delaware The Pennsylvania Native Plant Society is proud to once again be hosting Dr. Douglas Tallamy as their guest speaker. Dr. Tallamy is Professor and Chair of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware. His book Bringing Nature Home provides an eloquent explanation of how and why biodiversity must be restored into our private landscapes. His book has become an important reference for explaining the importance of native plants. No one makes the case for natives in the landscape more clearly. The PNPS annual meeting will begin at 1:00 pm with a brief member meeting, followed by Dr. Tallamy’s presentation at 2:00 pm.
