November Communion Service With Pastor Chris November - The Month of Strengthening Luke 22:41-43 - And he was withdrawn from them about a stones cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:neverthelessnot my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. Luke 22:44 - And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Struggling for victory. Wrestling for something. Working hard, breaking the limits for victory. He wanted to win. He had to go through the pain as it were. He prayed more seriously for what was in front of Him and His sweat were like drops of blood. He agonised for victory. There appear unto Him an angel from heaven strengthening Him. He told them to pray along with Him and made this statement in that regards... Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Jesus told them to pray because the flesh is weak and will make you not to do the right thing. It will call for attention. There was temptation coming. They were about to flee when the Master is arrested but they didnt know it. He told Peter that satan wants to sift him as wheat but that He had prayed for him. Pray that you enter not into temptation. He knows that you want to do big things for God but the flesh is weak. Pray to be strengthened. This is similar to what I shared in August 2013, the month of strengthening, this month is different. This month of November is The Month of Strengthening!!! 1. There is strength for the long journey ahead. Its a hard journey. 1 Kings 19:7-8 - And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. He went in the strength of that food for forty days and forty night. It was not a mere meal, its the word. You need strength for this journey. Your role and Gods role for the purpose for your life. As you go in this journey, there will be battles to fight. Conflicts of life and you need strength for these fights. The spirit of God is preparing you. 2. 2Samuel 22:40 - For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. Jesus was strengthened for the battle He was going to face. The angel came in the place of prayer. This is so important. This kind of strength is spiritual and comes via prayer. Its not from your physical strength or from your kitchen. You have the energy for it. Trouble is coming and youve got to face it. Dont confess negatively. 3. Thirdly, you need strength for the times. Were in special times in Gods Calendar. Daniel 10:14-18 - Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days:for yet the vision is for many days. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips:then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me. What caused his strenght to deprive him? It was what he saw in the vision. These are perilous times. Theres so much to learn about the times we are living and you need strength for these times. This is what we are going to do this month. Extra-ordinary Respons to Extra-ordinary Times! -Strenght for the Journey -Strenght for the Troubles -Strenght for the Times Every Friday of this month, beginning from this Friday, we will fast and pray all over the world. Already, pastors are doing it, but, all of us will do it. And then, we will go to church for prayer. Let the pastors arrange for this throughout the month. God bless you!
