November Diabetes Awareness: Deann Blake, KVHs Diabetes Educator, and Kjersti Madsen, Diabetes Program Dietitian, brought together their A-Team to share valuable info during the Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Diabetes – But Were Afraid to Ask event. The Team covered Diabetes FAQs & Healthy Food Choices, support group info, exercise tips, and presented a Rate Your Plate activity that was an eye-opener for understanding how daily food choices can add up, with or without diabetes. Thanks also to Kristi Siebert and Kathyjo Randall from Sole2Soul Health Center, and Marge Schneider and Mary Wood from the Goldendale Diabetes Support Group for a fun, informative event!
