Now I know that Aberdeen Inspired are promoting growing edible plants that a community can share, but Im not sure that they are promoting guerrila gardening. In fact, reading the leaflet I was given, I am not sure what it is they seek to promote, but maybe all will become clearer when they launch this initiative. However, I do think there is something anarchic about guerrila gardening that I like. So much space going to waste - at a time when we have food banks? It should be about empowering people - and no, I dont think that in this country, in this day and age, there should be food banks, but I do think there is something that we can do to make better use of the land that we have which is fallow.
