Now lets crunch those numbers for year round non-profit facility teachers that earn no state retirement or benefits, are paid less than public teachers but are required to have more specialized education and training, and attempt to teach and mentor kids with severe emotional and behavioral issues with little (or outdated) to no resources. Its just an honor that we receive those teacher of the year awards each year instead of those suburban middle and high school teachers. Oh, wait...
