Now that the Zone Showriding entries are done and dusted - here is the next event! Zone 12 are holding a Derby and Mounted Games day at the LAPC grounds on Nov 30. For the racing people, the Derby is not a race for 3yo colts and geldings! In this case it is a course of between 1000 and 1600 metres with a combination of XC and SJ fences. The most famous Derby would be the Hickstead Derby, but we wont quite be going to that level! There are some really good videos on YouTube of various Derbys in Europe. The Mounted Games is an Area 5 Qualifier for next years Sydney Show. The online entry form is very simple, only takes 2 minutes, and saves Maree processing time. Payment can be made by EFT (easiest) or payment to Maree. Frank has said that either ODE OR SJ cards are fine, nobody has to go and get an ODE card just for this event if they are already graded for SJ
