OBSERVING THE SABBATH There is no doubt that Gods mandate to his people in all generations, including myself, was very specific. He wanted them to honour him by observing the Sabbath. This mindset is quite different from our modern way if thinking. Ours is arbitrary mindset, where we want to pick-and-choose what we like. supposedly, we can choose which of Gods moral principle to keep and forget the rest. In this kind of cultural climate. It is often hard for believers to be decisive about the commands of God words. On the one hand, they do not want to be considered narrow minded, begoted, and intotolerant by their counterparts. On the other hand, believers know that what the Lord has revealed in scripture is best for society as well as their individual lives. Therefore, we can not afford to explain away the principle and prioririties of Gods word. it is also unwise to tone down or make exceptions to his command just to gain popular approval. After all, so much of society is at risk and so many peoples lives are messed up. So we must insist, as Nehemiah did in his days, that the only way to improvement lies in following the teaching of Gods word.NEHEMIAH 13. So observe the Sabbath Comments welcome
