ODM senators seem to have more brains, better placed, and well versed in politics than their counterparts in Parliament. That partly explains why their party leader is comfortable associating with senators rather than being associated with more senior but ill equipped ODM parliamentarians. During the passage of the security bill the party realized that they needed a twitter account and physical presence of Muthama, Wetangula and Bonnie to physically and remotely give directions to their handicapped members in parliament. It still did not help. On the other side, Raila Odinga happens to be a leader who has actually found a career in loosing election, and his party name ODM is synonyms with disruption of elections, violence, imposition of leadership on people, usage of poverty as a political tool and living in denial which actually were strong characteristics in the yester years but have no place in today society. To Raila, as far as Jakoyo’s team in parliament is concerned, Degree is just a paper hence the call for dissolution of parliament in a move to try and fix this problem driven by the need to hire his weakness.
