OK Folks....this dog sounds wonderful...Brooklyn.....we have limited timed and need to find her a home. Another sad story where a pet gets caught in the middle of something that cant be controlled.... LOOKING for a Foster or Forever homes... PLEASE spread the word She is at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 434-8128 HER STORY...... H Steve, Brooklyn is 5 years old...she was born in November 2009, and is 5 years old... My son, after college, had asked me if he could get a puppy.....I said sure...Then he brought home a pit bull. I didnt think I liked Pit Bulls, but I fell in love with Brooklyn...I named her after the model Brooklyn Decker. - because they were both so beautiful.. And you know what happens Steve, when the kids move out, they leave the dog....- which I was very happy about, because I lover her so much.... I had to move out of my Albany apartment of 7 years, as could no longer afford it ( Im still friends with my landlord Dan Fillipello)... Im 72 years old, and moving to Senior Apartments - St Vincents in Albany, and will not allow pet over 20 or 30 lbs... Brooklyn weights between 80 and 100 lbs... I have friends at the Humane Society, so they took her in until I could find a suitable home for her...... They also feel she will not be adopted, since she doesnt like other dogs. But, believe me Steve, she is the most LOVEABLE dog....loves people - If someone broke into her house, her bark would scare the heck out of them...the problem is though, she would just lick them to death..... I wish I had contacted you sooner.....A friend of mine recommended I get a hold of you...She said that you would get back to me if possible...... A girls name at the shelter is Candice - she is in intake (ext 216),, she is familiar with me and of course Brooklyn.... I These are the only 2 pictures I have of Brooklyn... still looking for more.... Thank you so much Steve Dennis Hurley
