OK. There is no easy way to ask this. Who (as in males) that went to recruit training in the early 80s was given a GAY test? I am not trying to be insensitive to todays recruits. It was a very different Navy then and being gay was a basis for discharge. At one point during the medical in-processing we all had to step into a room (individually) with a lady psychologist. Mine was a very attractive woman about 25 or so. Started asking me about how many women I had dated in high school. How many girlfriends I had during high school. Odd questions. She was also rather seductive in the way she asked the questions and her use of body language. Clearly she was trained to spot guys that were not giving the traditional response. I dont know if that happened to everyone, but it DID happen to everyone that I asked in my company (288). Again I am talking 1982. I guess that doesnt happen anymore.
