OK peeps: heres the skinny! I got to come home today with a PICC line and I have to go to Apple Hill and the hospital everyday to receive infusions of Depomycin. The ID doctor told me that this a real heavy hitter and expensive as hell but considering the fact that my back is already swelling up again, its super necessary. The cultures from Saturday will be looked at tomorrow but they think its just more of what theyre already fighting. So, like a dumb ass I came down the stairs this evening in nylon socks and slipped and fell down about 5 steps, right on the incision on my hip, hurt my toes. A day in the life of me, and it sucks to be me! But, praise God Im still alive and not a vegetable and the doctors are already talking about getting me healed up and taking another run at it!!
