OK, so I take melatonin, which is a great sleep aid for me and works wonders but it does have a side effect of vivid dreams, which some people like and some hate. Im neutral on that issue, but I have to relate one from last week. Yankee fans know that this has been a difficult season and that the Yankees are not very good. Compounding the awful lack of offense is the fact that the pitchers have been erratic and injured. Anyway, I had a dream that the Yanks somehow got hot at the end of the season and made the playoffs and got to the World Series, facing the Cardinals. The Cardinals blew them out in the first two games, and, as I was walking up Hubbell Hill Road, who should I run into but Derek Jeter, looking mad as a wet hen. I said to him, Hey, Derek, lighten up. Its a miracle you got this far with that team. You have to admit this isnt a great Yankee team.. Just posting this in case they Yanks do actually make the playoffs, which I sincerely doubt.
