OMG! Who said you cant have a revelation while youre in the shower? I just did and God is SO AMAZING! Why I never put two and two together before to come up with five is beyond me! Let me explain. Rusty and I met at Newberry College in 1967. In 1968 I moved with family to New Orleans and stayed. Rusty went into the Army. In November of 1969 Rusty lost his Mother and in December of 1969 we were married and I moved into their home in Winnsboro. In early 1970 my Mom calls and startles me with fantastic news that they are moving to Charlotte! In late 1970 we were given an opportunity to move to Union near college friends. Having My parents nearby was an answer to prayer. In April 1973 precious Brooke was born and almost two years later in February 1975 let me test the world Chris was born. One daughter and one son. Complete? Maybe, but my world was crashing fast. I was losing my parents to South Florida because of his job. We spent practically every free moment with them. What now? I want to add that without Marcie Lawson, her Dad, and four kids around the corner I would have grieved heavily. They helped fill the gap in my heart and I love them dearly like family. But! I just had this revelation today! God was seeing my sadness! He heard my unspoken prayer! Two plus two just had to equal five! And thus great joy, a miracle of new life joined our family and Amalia Maree Price was born the night before my parents moved. I never saw this as a Miracle from God before. But I do now and know now why I told her she was our Miracle child. Life moves in such twists and turns that sometimes you dont see your path clearly. In 1995 my sister was involved in a life changing motorcycle accident in Columbia. My parents had moved to Greenville by then after Dad retired. But Dad was missing something he needed and they moved back to Florida shortly before my sisters accident. Three months in the hospital and all of us sharing time with her. Mom and Dad literally lived that whole time in a motel. This was very trying on us as we were unsure for a longtime what her brain injury would cause. This was just before Amy graduated that year from High School and Brooke from USC. I suddenly recognized the uncanny timing of these events. God knows all! He knows each and every one of us intimately and knows our path before we do. He allowed us to experience a bit of joy during a time of sorrow and worry. He decided we needed the five in our equation. He decided we needed that extra miracle of birth. He knew in our hearts that we were NOT complete and I Love My God, my Lord and Savior, for these three precious gifts!! God works in mysterious ways...sometimes we dont like it, sometimes we experience great joy, sometimes we have deep sorrow , sometimes we are blessed with answered prayer or a new life to love, and always He knows what we need and gives us what we can handle. He knows sorrow can lead to joy. I am truly blessed! Thank you Lord!
