ONE DAY.... I travelled to Europe through Brussels and I happened to have a long transit time waiting for a flight at the Brussels International Airport. As I sat there waiting I had the chance to follow the different kinds of airport announcements that were being made. There was a particular announcement that caught my attention. It was an announcement, repeated frequently, requesting a gentleman to proceed quickly to his boarding gate, where his plane was waiting to depart. At a point the announcer said, “Mr Clarkson this is your FINAL CALL. Please proceed to your boarding gate.” I didn’t hear anything about this person for the next thirty minutes. Then suddenly, I heard another announcement concerning him. It went something like this, “Mr Clarkson, please report yourself to the Airline Desk for some important information.” Mr Clarkson had been left behind and was now being re-directed to another location other than his boarding gate. I had heard 3 different messages given to Mr Clarkson over the public address system. The first was an ordinary call. The second was a final call and the third was a call re-directing him to another point in the airport. I thought to myself, “Is this what the call to salvation is like? First, a general call to be saved. Second, a final call to salvation. And third, a transfer to hell (if the first two calls are not heeded).” Indeed, salvation is an offer made to the lost souls of this world! The call to salvation will not sound forth endlessly. There will always be a LAST call! If the last call is rejected the tragedy of eternal damnation will be applied to those who reject it. There is something called a “last call”. Today is the day of salvation and this may be your last chance. This may be your last call - after which you cannot be saved. Take advantage of the blood of Jesus today and receive salvation TODAY! SAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME... Lord Jesus, I come to You as a sinner, lost and condemned to Hell. I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness. I believe with all my heart that You died on the cross and rose up again for my sins. I open my heart to You and receive You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Please take control of my life and make me what You want me to be. From today, I am Yours and You are mine. Thank You, Father for this wonderful gift of salvation, Amen.(DAG HEWARD MILLS)
