OPEN YOUTH FOOTBALL TRIALS - ON JULY 19 & 20 FORMER Real Madrid assistant coach Manuel Ruiz will oversee the open day trials held by Europa Point FC at the Victoria Stadium, Gibraltar on the 19th-20th July. The former La Liga winning coach will select the teams and run the training along with Europa Point FC manager Miguel Perez. The trials will be attended by several scouts from notable clubs in Spain. As well a representative from last season’s UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid, scouts from Malaga FC, Cadiz CF and San Roque CD and a representative of League 1 side Chesterfield FC from England have confirmed their attendance barring unforeseen circumstances. The trials are open to players between the ages of 15-21 years oldwho are either free of ties or who have been granted permission from their clubs however there is a €20 entry fee which will entitle the payee to participate in the trials as well as receiving a replica shirt of Europa Point FC as a complimentary gift. The trials will commence at 10.00am and finish at 1.00pm, participants are advised to arrive early to fill out registration forms and pay the entry fee.
