OPINION POLL , 2015 DELTA LEADERS RATE GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANTS DELTA 2015 ; POLL SAYS PDP WILL WIN ELECTION IN DELTA STATE ; SENATOR OKOWA SUITABLE AS GOVERNOR The Opinion Poll was conducted in Asaba, Agbor, Kwale , Warri, Asaba, Patani and Oleh tagged “Delta Governorship 2015 race ” Nigerian Opinion Research Services. The poll is said to be based on certain fundamental indices such as popularity, track record, integrity ,courage among others. The poll conducted across the state saw Okowa emerging as the consensus candidate having polled over 75 percent of the vote cast in the local government areas where the polls were conducted. If general elections are held now, the PDP under senator okowa will leave behind APC , LP, ACCORD PARTY and DPP by miles, says a Nielsen survey released today. Only 22 percent of the respondents interviewed this month in 25 cities across Delta state said they intend to vote for the APC a statement said. In contrast, 39 percent said they would vote for the PDP , under senator Okowa as governor . . The survey showed that the DPP would bag 3 percent of votes and other parties a total of 17 percent. Nineteen percent of the respondents refused to give their opinion. On the party front, 36 percent said they would vote for PDP , if the election was held now, whereas only 18 percent would root for APC . The survey involved close to 19,000 respondents According to the survey, senator okowa has emerged as the most suitable candidate for the post of Delta state governor . He beats most PDP Governor aspirants quite comfortably. As many as 61 percent favoured senator Okowa as governor . Around 60 percent said they would vote for the PDP on the assumption that in the 2015 Governorship elections senator okowa will lead the PDP. PDP veteran like Gabriel Oyibode , Dr Mrs Ngozi Olejeme ,Dr Festus Okubor, Hon. Victor Ochei, Elder Godsday Orubebe, Tony Obuh Sam Obi ,Ovie Omo-Agege are way behind senator okowa . leader chief Great Ogboru gets the support of only 9 percent. Young leader like Dr. Andrew Foubiri WARRI is said to be next to Okowa with 43% , A total of 61 percent of the respondents think that senator okowa should be the PDP candidate for the post of governor . Only 16 percent other candidate . Note the poll has margin error of plus or minus 2% . Meanwhile . In another development the poll conducted by Anioma voice a public opinion leader in Delta north has senator okowa as leading —– ANIOMA BORN GOVERNOR.
