OSBA Honors Earned On September 24th, Joanne Morbitzer, the Marysville Schools Food Service Director and Bruce Daniels of Honda Marysville, were both honored for their positive impact on Marysville students at the Central Region Fall Conference sponsored by the Ohio School Boards Association. Joanne Morbitzer of Marysville Schools was honored at the OSBA conference and was awarded the Exemplary School District Employee Award. From meeting the ever-changing Federal and State guidelines for school nutrition to keeping her department budget in the black, Joanne Morbitzer has led the Food Service Department of Marysville Schools and has made a difference for students. Even with her busy schedule, Joanne still tries to find the time to roll up her sleeves and help serve Marysville students lunch and or breakfast. Joanne enjoys interacting with students and her staff and seeing smiles on their faces. Bruce Daniels of Honda Marysville was honored at the OSBA conference and was awarded the Friends of Education Award. Bruce has been a continuous supporter of the Marysville Schools over the years and his partnership with the district has only grown stronger. Bruce supplied 5 new cars for students to utilize this past summer as a part of the Summer Bridge Design Challenge and delivered the actual design challenge to the students. Bruce has made a positive impact on Marysville students and looks forward to making a difference for years to come.
