OUR DANCERS and CHOREOGRAPHERS ARE AMAZING! We win both Senior and Junior XCaliber Awards for the highest scores in the advanced division of competition at Dance Xplosion! Congrats to Marlowe Davis for Cotton Club winning the JR Division and to George Warren for Tap Cats Rattle and Roll winning the Teen/Senior Divisions. Congrats to Jason Warley for winning the Choreography Award , George Warren for winning the Entertainment Award and to all our dancers for winning Top Technique Studio Award recognition! Mickey DeFrancos CATS choreography, Stairway to Heaven, won top Large Group of the Competition! CATS won top Small Group of the Competition with Ida Sakis To Be Deterred. Jennifer Taddei won a special award for her beautiful choreography in Sleepsong, not to mention other high scores. Jr Cats won top Jr Large Group with Marlowe Davis Beautiful Monsters. Sue Garahans Let It Roar won top petite large group and won a special award for Coming to Take Me Away. Pam Grays Menu Song won a high score honor with 4 out of the original 6 members performing! Our soloists blew the audience away and won many High Score Honors with the most outstanding solo work ever achieved at the studio! We could not have asked for a more exciting regional competition season! I have left so much out, I know, so please feel free to add anything overlooked. All results will be posted at the studios!
