Of late i am an ardent student and supporter of Mutai Ngunyi school of thought. The previous year, immediately after CORD lost the election to Jubilee Alliance, my dear friend and political analyst, Ngunyi, made a political remark that shocked the country. Mutahi Ngunyi said an aborted revolution has a way of eating it own children” He said this began with the death of former Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo, who died mysteriously at his home in Maanzoni in April last year. Mutula was one of those who formed CORD coalition. In June the same year, there were senseless killings in Busia and Bungoma Counties and a number of CORD supporters were slaughtered like rats in a span of 19 days. Then one year after the failed revolution, a veracious crusader of CORD Alliance - Nyakwar nyakwamba - dies mysteriously at The Mater Hospital in Nairobi, after suffering a cardiac arrest. With all this happening in the first 18 months since the CORD coalition failed to clinch the Presidency on March 4th, this may vindicate Mutahi Ngunyi’s assertion that a failed revolution eats it own children. I fully agree that the late Mutula and late Nyakwar Nyakwamba are casualties of a failed revolution led by Jakom. He should refrain from active politicks and let youngsters take the lead.. . I rest my case
