Officers from Police Transport Command (PTC) have charged three men in separate incidents at train stations in Sydney. About 9.20pm on Friday 9 August 2013, police were called to Granville Railway Station after a member of the public reported a man indecently touching passengers on a platform. The man then allegedly used offensive language before exposing himself and urinating on a seat. Police arrested a 48-year-old man and took him to Parramatta Police Station. He was later charged with wilful and obscene exposure, malicious damage, offensive language and offensive conduct. The man was granted conditional bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 18 September 2013. Lidcombe PTC officers are continuing their inquiries into the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Meanwhile, about 3.35pm on Friday 9 August 2013, officers stopped an 18-year-old at Blacktown Railway Station for not having a valid train ticket. The man allegedly became aggressive and made threats toward police, who were forced to use OC spray. The man was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with intimidate police, assault police, resist arrest (x2), offensive language and a rail offence. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday 28 August 2013. In another incident, about 1.45pm on Friday 9 August 2013, a group of youths were using offensive language toward patrolling police at Punchbowl Railway Station. As officers attempted to arrest one of the group, a 26-year-old man allegedly grabbed a police officer in an attempt to stop him. He was arrested and later charged with assault police and resist arrest (x2) and granted conditional bail to appear in Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 3 September 2013.
