Ok, I need to update the status on my mom. The doctor came in this afternoon and said that they found nothing on the test, but there were signs of a previous stroke which happened many years ago and she even knew when she had it. It was just a mini stroke, other than that they found nothing. He believes that it was probably her blood sugar that bottomed out and she passed out. This happened 6 yrs. ago in Nov. when she was here staying with me at Thanksgiving and she passed out one morning before she could get any orange juice and hit the floor face down. This time she hit the back of her head, both on my kitchen tile. He said that she could go home today, but we asked if she could not stay until Monday to see if we could get her into a rehab, so that they could work with her and maybe get some strength back. She does no walking or excercising, she sits in the recliner most days and sleeps. Thanks for all that have kept her in your prayers and please continue to pray for her.
