Ok...Im just a little ticked off. The dental office is now saying they wont send Abigails xrays over to the other orthodontist without a release form...because they didnt give her a referral. If you hadnt already lost my business, you just did. Lets talk about red tape. They will send Lissies....but not Abigails. So what do I have to do? I have to drive to Alton Monday morning to fill out the referral and then she will review it Monday afternoon and then the doctor has to approve it and then will send both sets of xrays over. Lets talk about screwing up my Monday. It is an hour and twenty minutes one direction so loss of my time and the expenditure of gas. I am just thoroughly ticked off right now. Then there is no guarantee they will get them there. I have a project going on that I need to be here for on Monday morning. I already had things to do on Tues, Weds and Thurs. For most people thats no problem. For me that borders on asking to become ill from doing too much out away from home. I think I am going to have to move the girls ortho appointment off now to fit all this in. Not good. You know...our medical records belong to US. We paid for them or our insurance (which we paid for) paid for them. A doctor or dentist actually only holds YOUR records. YOU own them.
