Ok everyone, I havent updated yall in awhile on my dad. As you know he got admitted to the hospital the day before I did. So I havent been up there in awhile, Ive only been able to call and check on him. A few days ago he was finally moved from the NICU to the steps down unit, he is still very confused, he knows he is in the hospital, but he thinks he has been in some kind of crash. His mind isnt right. He is no longer ventilated and sedated but on a feeding tube because he cant swallow, and is not up walking around at all. He is through his withdrawals, but is going to a rehab facility in the next few days for physical therapy and helping to get him back and somewhat normal I guess. Please keep him and my mother in your prayers, my mom is having a real hard time, but has been staying with us since he was admitted. I dont truly believe he will recover fully from this and be able to take care of his self again. I am praying God leads me in the right direction to help my parents and do whats best for them. I am going to the hospital tomorrow to talk to the social worker and figure out whats next an after the rehab. 😞😞
