Ok my peeps. Tonight is gonna be the last Is Black Music Radio Show till Sept. So we gonna have a summer Funk blow out. Im trying to throw down the OG funk from back in the day. I want the original blue print funk. The funk so dirty and nasty, you wouldnt put it on your record player if you just bought a new needle. The more underground and obscure the better. Id like to get stuff from the seventies. The more repetitive the better. I want the baddest basslines in the house. I also want to give props to the classic jams. Right now the short list includes: GAP BAND Burn Rubber, More Bounce To The Ounce, Funkin For Jamaica, FATBACK BAND I Like The Girls, West Coast Pop Locking, and DAZZ BAND Let It Whip.There will be enuff Parliament and I might have to get me some CAMEO. We gonna leave James out of this tonight. So come on, I know I aint got that much underground punk-funk rocking on my list, and I know yaall knows the funk deeper than me, (Im talking to you Frederick Carl Burwell) let me know what Im missing!?
