Ok, so I have had a lot of messages asking what I did you heal the tearing of my meniscus cartilage. First of all, self diagnosis isnt recommended, however my doctor told me that I had arthritis from a bloody X-ray which is just ridiculous, but I would say to get seen by a doctor, get a second opinion from another doctor and also see if your own finding match, I used a injury sports book and also this site here: emedx/dol/form.htm. Once I found out what the problem was, I google what properties the meniscus needed to heal and function. Antioxidants was the major property that I found I would need, other ingredients such as manganese, selenium, glucosamine and vitamin C were others. So what I did was research the top ten foods that had these ingredients in them, once found, I got them from totally natural sources like holland and Barratts, I also bought Collagen tablets which I still take x3 in the morning and again at night, Optima Activjuice 25ml with my main meal each day and joint care Glucosamine and chondroitin tablets x3 a day (these are all natural). Everyday I have a high intake of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. I also eat walnuts, almonds, HAZELNUTS (the best for the cartilage), Brazil nuts whenever I am peckish instead of sweets and cakes etc. I didnt have time to rest so much but I image an even faster recovery if I did rest also. If the swelling is still up, then ice it every few hours and elevate the leg in rest. Finally for regaining strength and proper usage (because I do wanna get back to playing football as hard and as rough as I do ) :) I bought a wobble board and a demonstrative book on yoga which is I now do every morning.
