Ok, so Ive been out of the Facebook loop this week and didnt really understand the game going on, but thanks to Lisa Stearman Martin, here are 8 things you probably dont know about me :) 1. Back in the day, I was a HUGE Chicago Bulls/Michael Jordan fan! As in, had all kinds of posters, tshirts, coats, stuffed animals, etc. In fact, I have a MJ quote on my wall in my classroom :) 2. I love roller coasters, but have a paranoia that Im not buckled in properly, so I will have the teenager double check me.....like thats really gonna help, lol :) 3. I am very patriotic and LOVE history. Each day I get to pass on my love/passion for history and our country to my 150+ students. Hopefully, they will all become productive members of society that can think for themselves! 4. Abby and I lived in Tuscaloosa for about 9months by ourselves while I finished my Masters Degree. (Ben had finished his BS and took a job in Huntsville). 5. My bad habit: I am dependent on Mt Dews. Ive tried to quit them, but it results in a nauseating headache and I give in :( 6. I was the 2000-2001 Homecoming Queen at Northwest Shoals-Community College. 7. I had much rather work outside (yard, garden, etc) than inside. 8. In the 6th grade I was the Franklin Co Spelling Bee Champion :)
