Ok, the arrangement is really nice but Im posting this cuz its a great song to pull the congregation into a deeper understanding of worship. Some songs encourage people to lift their hands (ie. Rooftops by Jesus Culture) or take some other subtle posture of worship. Few people respond to these (I dunno but I shout that song as loud as I can). They can easily justify in their mind why they are NOT doing what the song said theyre doing. I like to push the envelope. I like to sing songs that express worship in its fullest and force people to reconcile within themselves that worship is far more than standing and singing a few songs. I want people to understand that worship may require us being flat on our face...or even dancing (ie. I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever by Martin Smith). Yes its uncomfortable, but doesnt God demand that we be vulnerable and step out in obedience and faith, and just go? And isnt the idea of worshiping on Sunday morning about a reckless abandon for God...or is simply showing up and singing a couple songs about God good enough?
