Okay. Bear with me. This is too freaky and cool. So, I named my new bike Brother Maynard from an obscure character in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Since hes the keeper of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, which blows up the Beast of Caer Bannogh (the bunny). Mostly because the name of the model reminds me of of the monastic order to which Brother Maynard belongs. (Domane) ...As in Pie Jesu Domine, Dona eis requiem, THWACK!!! So, Im out on a little 18 mile ride this morning and take a little detour around Golden Eagle Park. As Im on the path behind the soccer fields, I see this rabbit running through the sagebrush towards the path. we get to the same point in the path at the same moment and because I either scared the living $#@% out of him or because he IS the Beast of Caer Bannogh, He LEAPS THROUGH THE AIR STRAIGHT AT ME. Brother Maynard, true to his character DISPATCHED the flying hell beast with the rear wheel. (No worries, all you bleeding heart Cave-beast sympathizers; he lived.) So, since apparently my bike names are prophetic, my next bike shall be named Lottery Winner and Ill ride out to Gold Ranch and play the serial numbers.
