Okay so I bought a 1980 242 yesterday for $1000, it doesnt run. It does however spark & almost turns over. The issue seems to be leaning towards a fuel problem. I have very little history on the vehicle. I know its had the transmission swapped from a BW-55 to an AW-17 & the engine was also swapped I believe he said from the original 80 to an 83. (not 100% will find out) I have a gut feeling that it wont take much to get this car running clean. But Im far from being a mechanic.
