((Omg I did it- To my Real Haru, you dont have to follow ; w;)) The day started like any normal day. Walking to school with Haru-Chan, being greeted by Nagisa at the School gate. The Three of us going into first block together where we always grouped with Rei-Chan. Except when we got to the door for room ‘1’ I stopped. “Oh, I’ll be right back. I have to go to the office to talk about the filters for the pool today.” Haru-Chan didn’t say a word as always, he just gave me a look walking into class. Nagisa of course said a little too loud. “Okay! See you in a minute then!” After that he ran in the room, I knew I had only seconds to fly down the hall before I was caught but it was too late. Rei-Chan walked out of class with his arms crossed. “Ahem- where are you going?” I stopped, a grin crossed my face. “I’ll be right back.” Rei adjusted his glasses like always. “Don’t think you’re going to back out of this, Captin’ “ He smirked returning into the classroom. A shiver went down my spine, as a sigh escaped my lips. “Oh, I know.. Darn it Rin-Chan.” My last block of the day is art. Haru-Chan’s is Chemistry. Rei and Nagisa both have Wood Works together which is on the other side of the school. It takes them at least three minutes to get to mine and Haru’s side of the school after the bell rings. My class room is on the second floor while Haru’s is on the first floor, he’s always at practice first before any of us. If I really am going to do this I can get there without having Rei-chan watching me. A smile grew on my face, the drops of orange paint dripped down my canvas which was right in front of me. I was painting a picture of two goldfish from a bottom view, but it was getting messy. I wasn’t focusing. I looked at the clock. “Hurry, hurry” My paint strokes got more erratic. Just at that moment the bell rung and I dropped my brush into my jar. Quickly grabbing my backpack I ran for the door sliding it open and going down the hall heading for the stairs. On my way I looked out the window seeing the pool, but on the other side of it was the back roads which I could also take home. Which one did I want to do? Go to the pool or home? “Gah! I can’t think right now!” I ran down the stairs and out the side doors to the ‘H’ wing of the school. There I got on the normal pathway that lead to the pool. My eyes and ears were kept clear in case Rei-Chan was following me. Or if I ran into Nagisa on accident, or maybe even Gou-Chan. But she was supposed to be watching Rin-chan, hopefully. Turning onto a smaller pathway I started to get my keys out of my backpack for the pool gate- wait, does this mean I was going to tell Haru-Chan? For a minute I slowed down seeing that I was right next to the pool. Looking over I saw a thin wave of water go over the side of the pool closest to me. There, Haru-Chan floated along side the edge of the pool. His eyes staring at the sky, he looked so peaceful. There was nobody else there but him. Him and his water. I looked down at the keys in my hand. Do I get those same eyes from him when I’m not looking? I swalloed hard closing my eyes. “I can do this.” Walking around to the entrance to the pool I stuck the keys in the lock pushing the gate open. Haru still didn’t notice I was there. He was still floating along. I sat my bag down on one of the summer chairs before walking around the pool. I crouched down to him smiling, I held out my hand. “Hi Haru-Chan” He blinked at me quickly turning in the water. Pushing his hair over he took my hand. “Hey, why are you here so early?” I pulled up helping him out of the water. I let go of his hand quickly putting both of mine in my jacket pockets. “Oh, I just- I wanted to talk to you is all.” Haru walked pass me over to his bag grabbing a towel and throwing it around his shoulders. He looked at me oddly. “Alright, about?” A chill went through me, he was so calm. So serious, and barely any reaction. I turned to him. “Well.. Me and Rin-Chan were talking last night, about some things.” Haru looked at me oddly at this point. “You two were talking? About what?” I looked straight at him. “Haru what do you think about me?” His eyes got wide, he took the towel and wiped his arms off. “As in what Makoto?..” I shook my head. “Haru-Chan I don’t know how to really- I mean. Everyone tells me to stop hiding and open up already but this is why I keep hiding. I didn’t have to do this because someone told me to, I chose to. I guess what I’m trying to say is.. Do you l-love me Haru? That might be a little much but I don’t know how else to say it.” I looked away from him. “Or am I just a good friend?.. I can understand. Sorry for bugging you Haru.” I turned to leave when something hit me. My hair was dripping wet, the water started soaking into my jacket even. I took my hands out of my jacket pockets. I turned half way around seeing Haru holding a water bottle half empty, still in pointing position at me. His same cool look was on his face. “Yeah, I like you.” I blinked at him. “H-Haru-Chan” He put the cap back on the bottle throwing it on his bag. “I didn’t think you wanted to go anywhere with it though. Since I come and go, I’m not really reliable.” He shrugged “But I’m fine with it if you are.” I stood there for a minute in shock until it sunk in. This Captain didn’t sink with it’s ship. Because the ship didn’t sink, it left the port, with a full crew. I smiled “Thank you Haru-Chan I- before I could get the rest out our lips were met for a split second. After, I looked down at him with a flushed red face. “Love you too Makoto.” In the distance the sound of fake bird noises echoed throughout the pool area. A crooked grin went over my face as I turned around trying to see where they were. I knew Rei-Chan and Nagisa were making those. And of course Haru-Chan was back in the pool, floating along.
