On 7/16/2013, one of the Ex Japanese Prime Ministers Kan wrote on his blog that he filed a suit against the current Japanese Prime Minister Abe for defamation of character. Kan was Japanese Prime Minister in 311. In the mail magazine of 5/20/2011, Abe wrote it was disinformation that Kan ordered to inject seawater to Fukushima nuclear plant. Abe wrote Tepco started injecting seawater to Fukushima nuclear plant at 19:04 of 3/12/2011. They reported it to “the official residence” but Kan got “furiously mad” at that. The official residence ordered to stop injecting seawater to Fukushima nuclear plant. Due to the explanation of the experts, Kan finally allowed them to restart seawater injection at 20:20. Abe commented this is based on the several statements of related people. Abe was demanding Kan to step down for this responsibility. Kan states this is incorrect. Abe didn’t take back this statement regardless of Kan’s repetitive requests to revise and apology.
