On 9/11, 13 years ago, Rebecca was in 3rd grade and in downtown Atlanta with her honors class when the planes struck. The teachers loaded them back on the bus without an explanation and brought them home. When I got to her she said, Well that was the dumbest,shortest, field trip ever! I explained what had happened to her and she said, Mom, what is the worst thing that can happen? I said, Well, we could go to war, or they could continue to attack us and it may be end times. She said, Oh well if thats the worst thing that is great!!!! I will get to see Jesus quicker! It definitely put things in perspective for me that day!
