On August 1st, one of our patrol officers made a traffic stop on a truck in SW OKC. Inside the bed of the truck was a 4 wheeler. Although the ATV wasnt reported stolen at the time, several red flags went up and the officer impounded it. When our Auto Theft detectives started their follow-up investigation, they learned that the ATV had since been reported stolen and the victim was missing an additional ATV and a motorcycle. The family was very appreciative when investigators were able to track down ALL the stolen vehicles in this case and return them. Charges on the suspect are pending.
