On Friday morning, when some members looked at their accounts, they discovered that their direct deposits hadn’t yet been recorded. We apologize for the concern this caused. We understand that it’s not just a paycheck -- it’s gas for your car, groceries for your family, and much more. So what happened? An error with the debit and credit transaction files meant direct deposits were not processed until the afternoon. That delay had nothing to do with the online banking enhancements we unveiled this week. Weve fixed the issue and reversed any fees or overdraft protection transfers resulting from the delay. We’ve also taken steps to make sure this won’t happen again by changing our internal processes and adding extra auditing steps. We’re sorry if we caused a rough start to your Friday.
