On Friday, tragedy happened in one of our own communities. Children needed emergency transfusions. The blood they needed was there immediately – all because of support from donors like you. This emergency and other demands on our blood supply in recent days have impacted several blood types and our supply of platelets; we’re urging eligible donors to schedule an appointment this week at https://schedule.psbc.org or by calling (800) 398-7888. With your help, we will always be prepared when emergencies happen.
