On May 26th, Memorial Day, Term Limits for US Congress will begin petitioning in ALL 50 State. We WILL use the option provided in Article 5 to Impose Term Limits on the US Congress, WITHOUT THEIR APPROVAL. For years we have watched them make self-serving decisions, leeching the health and prosperity from our nation. We see our votes as the only input into this ever-deteriorating, dysfunctional government where a handful of wealthy aristocrats continue to squeeze every last drop of success from the people of an entire country. We look at these two parties that have become so powerful and entrenched that they flaunt their actions, feeling untouchable by those they were voted to represent. We go to vote and looking at our ballet, all we see is a choice of the lesser of two evils. The parties have decided in advance whom we will choose from. So many voters have confessed to casting their votes on party lines or name recognition, that accomplishments and capabilities play no part in who RULES our country. I don’t use that term lightly. Our government has evolved from a gathering of representatives into an aristocracy of the rich and powerful ruling a nation. Once in Congress, as long as they have the money and their party’s support, we stand helpless as they spend 20, 30, or 40 years living a life of luxury and corruption at our expense. IT STOPS NOW! Our forefathers realized that the day might come in which the Congress would evolve into an aristocracy similar to the one that they fought against for our freedom. With this in mind, they created an option in Article 5 that allows an Amendment to be presented by 2/3’s of the States at an Article 5 Convention. Once the presented Amendment is then ratified by ¾’s of the States, it becomes part of the US Constitution, without the involvement or approval of the US Congress. WE WILL USE THIS OPTION TO IMPOSE TERM LIMITS ON THE US CONGRESS, WITHOUT THEIR INVOLVEMENT OR APPROVAL Regardless of their wealth and power, NO LONGER will we allow Politicians to LIVE in the US Congress. We have a limited amount of time to set up our State and County teams. Join us in ending career politicians in the US Congress.
