On September 21st 2010 we wrapped on my first major short film project Love Like Hers, shot on super 16mm film. The budget for the film was £11k and was raised entirely through Crowdfunding (which was quite new back then). The film features actor Vincent Regan whos been in films like Troy (playing opposite Brad Pitt), Clash of the Titans, 300, Lockout (Luc Besson) amongst others - which was very nerve wracking at the time. We also had a crew of over 30, low loaders, production vehicles and so much more. I was like a fish out of water on the first day of principal photography - a feeling I will never forget. I ended up documenting the whole experience in this 70 minute, incredibly in-depth documentary. You can see the stress in my face on set.
