On Sunday, Sept. 21, Crosspoint Community Church decided to take - TopicsExpress

On Sunday, Sept. 21, Crosspoint Community Church decided to take church to the streets. Instead of gathering as usual, we wanted to tangibly demonstrate the love of God to our neighbors. So, we partnered with local groups, Project Westmoreland and Golden Girls Group Home, to love our neighbors as ourselves. The response was and continues to be overwhelming. First, we want to thank our Great God for giving us the opportunity and responsibility of representing Him in this world as His sons and daughters through faith in Jesus Christ (Jn. 1:12-13). Second, we want to thank the Crosspoint family for being willing to obey God, even if it meant doing things a bit differently for one week (Mt. 5:13-16). Third, we would like to thank Project Westmoreland and Golden Girls for giving us the chance to serve our neighbors. The links below show some of the work that was accomplished. We will be posting more as they come in. As you see these pictures, take a moment to pray for those who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Pray that God will give Crosspoint and other churches in the Westmoreland Community opportunities to share Christ with them. Pray for a heart of unity among the believers of this community so that Gods name might be exalted!
