On a spiritual level this breaks my heart. I spent my kids life teaching them about God yet letting them know that religion is their decision (Lutheran, Mormon, Baptist). To date I have been Episcopal, Lutheran, Mormon, Presbyterian, Assembly of God, and Baptist. All are religions, not faith. I have told them I dont care how or where they worship so ling as they love and believe in God. I have never placed my belief on their body. I worry that this child will one day want to walk in Gods light yet see he is marked by the Devil. What I hope is that God makes him an amazing child of God with three stupid numbers on his body. The simple fact is that depending on your perspective you can see that as the mark of the Devil or God defeating him and using you for the greater good.
