On this day a year ago only 26 weeks gestation weighing only 1 lb 6 ozs I gave birth to my little fighter Tristan... what a journey it has been for us. Being on a ventilator for 2 months, having abdominal surgery removing 5 inches of his intestine, being diagnosed with osteopenia where his bones are so brittle with any movement he fractured causing both arms and femur to fracture wearing a full body brace, being dependant on the ventilator for a long time causing so much oxygen pressure to his eyes where his retina was detaching and almost considered blind, and this last time having pneumonia and stopped breathing and had to be revived. Now my son has healing fractures, is able to see, and is alive praise God... I thank God each day for choosing me to be his mommy. Happy 1st birthday daddy!!! I love you Tristan Aiden
