One Day Workshop on Basic Network Design and Deployment Internet, as a whole, is a collection of millions of basic networks physically or virtually connected to each other. In order to make sure that the network works, network administrator or maintainer has to play the biggest role. Understanding basic networking is the foremost knowledge to be acquired in order to be a good network professional. Basic networking includes requirement analysis, IP address and subnetting, resource planning, product selection, network planning, device configuration, best current practices etc. Training & Workshop Division (TWD), Research Cell, JUST arranged a day long workshop on Basic Network Design and Deployment. Objectives of the Workshop - To build better understanding about basic network design and deployment - To train the participants about networking devices, functionality and configurations - To provide better understanding about requirement analysis, resource planning, product selection etc. - To provide hands on training on design, implement and maintain basic network infrastructure - To introduce students and network administrators with the industry requirement and Best Current Practice (BCP) Target Audience The expected target audiences will include the students of CSE, EEE and interested pupils from any other discipline of JUST having interest in IP and networking technology. The presence of network and system administrators of JUST will be highly appreciated.
