One of my friend’s cousin Angshuman (only 11yrs) admitted to the International Hospital, Guwahati on Saturday for ailment of kidney stone with acute pain. But irony is that the consultant urologist yet to treat the patient on the pretext of Sunday. How pathetic the medical service in Assam!!! I tried to contact the PRO of the Hospital, but the staff refused to share the number. This is not only the case of my friend alone, most of the low profile patients(s) suffer due to the wrongful and malicious attitude of Doctors/Hospitals. Friends, what should we call this, a healthy medical practice or a dirty business tactics? Shame on the Doctors/medical staff that enjoy their Sundays/Holidays keeping their patient(s) in pain and agony!!!!
