One of the things i like about youtube is stumbling upon interesting youtube channel.This is one of my fave episode in The Brain Scoop. Meet Emily, former volunteer in a Zoological Museum who created youtube videos on her volunteer work. She calls herself a Science Communicator, and educates the public through her youtube channel. Upon success of her youtube channel (250K subscriber) , shes now the chief correspondent in The Field Museum in Chicago. What i find interesting about her channel is how she apply her scientific knowledge and transorm it into short videos about her work (which started of just to share her experience while volunteering). In a way, she showed that working in museum doesnt have to be boring if you know how to make it interesting. She manage to attract the interest of the public esp the younger generation to understand more about zoologist work. By talking on complicated subject as science that is simple enough for everyone to understand. So, i hope her life story will inspire the students here to carve their own path in whatever field they are passionate about.
