One of the things we like to make is homemade play doh. The making is almost as much fun as the playing with it. Here is the recipe in case you want to have a go. 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup salt 1/2 cup water 1/2 tablespoon oil 1/2 tsp cream of tartar a few drops of food colouring Mix all the ingredients except for the food colouring in turn it out. Knead the dough, be careful as it will be hot, on a floured surface until cool enough for the children to have a go. Separate the dough into as many colours as you want to make. Put just a few drops of colouring in each ball and knead until evenly mixed. You can store it for several weeks in the fridge in a plastic box. Have fun.
